Dear Fellow Jew:
Thank you for visiting this web site. By clicking through to this page you have demonstrated courage. Courage to acknowledge that, for the Jewish people to survive, we must take action.
If you are not yet religious and you surf this site, you will find suggestions for those currently practicing Orthodox Judaism on how to best reach out and demonstrate how much they care for you, as a person, and a member of our shared faith.
Please accept this as an invitation to be proud of your religion. Be proud of your faith. Your religion has everything you need to find fulfillment in your life. I know this to be true because you were born to a Jewish mother and your religion is a gift to you from G-d. Your religion, thousands of years old, is as vibrant, alive and exciting today as it was back then as well.
Imagine a religion where there is a mandated day of rest. A day to reconnect and refocus on what's important in life. A day to step out of the rat race and aim higher. Imagine a religion that promotes equality amongst women and men; where women are treated as people, not objectified. Imagine a religion that G-d chose you to be born into. Being Catholic is great-for the Catholics. Being Protestant is great-for the Protestants.
Now stop imagining because it is true: G-d chose YOU to appreciate your heritage as a Jew!
If you are interested in learning more please email me for suggestions, ideas, etc., or visit the related links page. No pressure! Don’t worry about thinking that being Jewish is all or nothing. We are all growing-one small step at a time and at our own pace. The trick is just not to stagnate; Stay in the sunshine and you will grow!
As of member of your faith, I'm glad you stopped by. Thanks for reading this. If you'd like to find out more and, indeed are Jewish (i.e. your Mom is Jewish, and her Mom too) We'd love to have you for a Shabbos meal -- give a call to 1-800-SHABBAT or shoot us an email. Just bring an appetite!
Warmly,
Dovid Winiarz
Director
PS: If you are a practicing Jew and surf this site, we hope you realize that the future of the Jewish people rests in your hands. Your ability, indeed your responsibility, to reach out and touch achainu kol bais Yisroel may be the only thing that will prevent the ravaging tides of assimilation.
